A new home, a new journal & a renewed intention 🤍
by Kashmir Maryam (Diary of a Muslim therapist)
Assalamu Alaykum Wr Wb my beautiful friends,
This year has been full (in the best and most humbling ways, alhamdulillah). Since we launched our Counseling Practice, Heal Therapy Clinic, we’ve found deep meaning and connection in supporting our Muslim community and making mental health care more accessible than it’s historically been. It’s also meant I’ve had less time to write my newsletters, so if your inbox from me has been a little too quiet lately, that’s why!
Now that we’re settling into a better flow, I’m so excited to return to sharing psychology-inspired Islamic reflections, inshaAllah. To make things simpler and more consistent, I’ve officially moved my writing over here to Substack.
For the first time, I’ve been intentionally weaving mental health and spirituality together, in ways that make psychoeducation more accessible and heart-centered. My hope is to continue offering reflections and practical tools that help you nurture both mind and soul, from a sound psychological and faith-based perspective, wherever you are on your unique journey.
And… I have something special to share…
I’ve just released my newest book, My Quran Journal, a project close to my heart that helps you slow down, study, and truly reflect on Allah’s (SWT) magnificent words. It’s now available for just $14.99 for a limited time, perfect as you prepare to reconnect with the Quran (especially with Ramadan 2026 fast approaching — Allahumma ballighna Ramadan!)
You can check it out and order your copy [here]

Thank you, truly, for being here. For reading with sincerity and walking this path together with me. I can’t wait to share more reflections with you each week, inshaAllah.
With love and dua’,
Kashmir 🤍
